Rev. Dr. Shelley Best earned a national reputation through the launch of the FaithWorks Community Development Leadership Institute, which expanded the capacity of 70 nonprofit organizations across the United States. She earned her Master of Arts in Religious Leadership from Hartford Seminary; a Master of Divinity degree from Yale University; and received her Doctorate in ministry from Hartford Seminary.

HOPE TAKES A LOT OF FAITH

The last time I ministered in a parish, I was Director of Religious Education. My first year, I asked our janitor, who was clearing a wooded area behind the rectory, if he would bring me the stump of one of the trees he had to remove. I asked once. Asked again and asked a third time when it was almost the First Sunday of Advent. WISDOM HOUSE SAYS FAREWELL TO SISTER ROSEMARIE GRECO

Over the course of her career, Sister Rosemarie Greco experienced a physical and spiritual journey that took her away from Wisdom House, then back again, as she taught and considered the Catholic faith. She is now set to step away from the Litchfield interfaith center, as she plans to retire after 27 years as its executive director.
