Prophetic Encounters: How the History of Religious Radicalism Can Help Us Today

For centuries, people of all faiths have led movements for racial, gender, and economic justice in the United States. This workshop will share the stories of such exemplary activists as Methodist abolitionist Richard Allen, Catholic community builder Dorothy Day, Quaker pacifist Bayard Rustin, and pagan environmentalist Starhawk. Each drew prophetic inspiration from their own tradition and from transformative encounters with other activists. Come learn their stories  Includes lunch.
