Meet the Sisters: Sr. Jeannine Boutin, DW

Sr. Jeannine journeyed to Wisdom House with six other sisters in 1949. At the time, they lived in the Farm House before the Main Building was built. She was amazed at the ground being covered in snow and the sense of solitude in the Litchfield Hills.

Throughout her years as a Daughter of Wisdom, she has clung to this reality: “I had to be a person of prayer. I had to work hard, not be afraid to give myself and to be faithful and to trust God.”
