Zoom Lenten Series: Taize and Guided Meditation

  • Wisdom House Retreat & Conference Center 229 East Litchfield Road Litchfield, CT, 06759 United States (map)

Thursdays from 7:00pm - 8:30pm | February 18, 25, March 4

Presented by Br. Mark D’Alessio

Join us at the start of Lent for a weekly online series of Taizé Prayer Services and Guided Meditations.  Taizé is a service of meditative singing and quiet reflection that also invites us into a generous use of silence.  It is a time to just be, and be together.  Each week, for three weeks, we’ll encourage each other with prayer and song that will let go of the anxious sense of our daily lives and assist us to breathe in the meditative presence of Christ and community.

For some, this is a new way to worship, but many throughout the world find it to be soulful and enriching.  So, join us this Lent for a time of thoughtful, spiritual observance in preparation for the joy of Easter.  All are welcome to come worship with us and try it out.  You can join us for one evening; or, for all three. For those interested in attending just one session, please call us to register at (860) 567-3163.
