Presented by Matt Ekstrand and Anne Malisk of the Susan B. Anthony Project on behalf of Connecticut’s Human Anti-Trafficking Response Team (HART)

This workshop, information and training about Human Trafficking in CT will show participants how to recognize human trafficking and what can be done. 

The program takes place in person and by Zoom.  Masks and social distancing protocol required for in-person attendance.  Refreshments will be provided. Zoom access information will be emailed to you prior to the event.

This program is presented by Wisdom House in collaboration with the League of Women Voters of Litchfield County (LitchfieldLWV.org) and the Susan B. Anthony Project (sbaproject.org).

Program is free. Please register by Thursday, April 29.

Anne Malisk, SBAP,  Child Sexual Assault Advocate for over 6 years; a member of the Northwest region’s Child Abuse Investigation Team (CAIT NW) and the statewide Human Trafficking Response Team (HART); a trainer of professional and community members throughout the state since 2015 and experienced in working directly with child trafficking victims. 

Matthias Ekstrand, SBAP Community Educator with Susan B. Anthony Project for the past 7 years. His primary role is to educate students and community members to reduce domestic and sexual violence and trafficking within our county. He has facilitated numerous your awareness trainings to high school students about human trafficking in America.
