The Camino de Santiago, or Way of Saint James, is a thousand-year-old sacred pilgrimage that traverses northern Spain, extending 500 miles from Saint Jean Pied de Port in the French Pyrenees Mountains to the city of Santiago de Compostela near the Atlantic coast. Experience the Camino through stories and photographs, as the author of the memoir Into the Thin, Stephen Drew of Morris, explores the inner and outer act of pilgrimage, and the transcendent healing found along these ancient roads.

Stephen Drew lives in the town of Morris. He recently published a memoir, Into the Thin, A Pilgrimage Walk Across Northern Spain, and is currently preparing his next book, a creative non-fiction.

Stephen practices a minimalist lifestyle which includes daily walking, mostly on the roads and paths around Bantam Lake.  Hiking here and elsewhere serves as a centerpiece of contemplative living.
