Unfolding Memories: A Meditative Writing Retreat

  • Wisdom House Retreat & Conference Center 229 East Litchfield Road Litchfield, CT, 06759 United States (map)

Presented by Julie Rumrill

Sometimes it falls on us to tell the stories that should not be lost. Writing is a powerful form of self-expression that can help bring clarity, gratitude, and healing. Engaging writing exercises will be thoughtfully balanced with mindful practices, creative activities, gentle yoga, and time for independent reflection.  Feedback and sharing are offered, but completely optional. This is a unique opportunity to settle into the comfort and beauty of the Wisdom House, allow the mind to wander through time, and capture the experiences, people and places we treasure.

Please bring:  a yoga mat, a notebook and pen -- or laptop computer (if you prefer writing that way), a photograph of your choice that resonates deeply with you.

Optional: cushion, blanket, sweater or zip-up hoodie, water bottle, colored pens/pencils
