Do Not Go Gentle: Poetry of Dylan Thomas

  • Wisdom House Retreat & Conference Center 229 East Litchfield Road Litchfield, CT, 06759 United States (map)

Presented by Robert Piazza

Rekindle your creative fire! Poets of all levels, from beginner to advanced, come together to read, write, and recite.  Living in London during The Blitz, the infamous Nazi firebombing of World War II, Dylan Thomas confronted the conflict of birth versus death.  Join us for a generative workshop in which we explore the poetry of Dylan Thomas, taking a deep dive into six of his major poems, to see how we can apply Dylan Thomas’ rich rhetoric to our own writing.  Bring pencils & notebooks. Poems will be provided. Enjoy opportunities to nurture your Muse!

COST | $75, lunch included
