Presented by Beth Reel
I am a Certified Forest Therapy Guide with the Association of Nature and Forest Therapy and a Level 2 Certified Mindful Outdoor Guide with the Kripalu School of Mindful Outdoor Leadership. Forest Bathing is an evidence-based practice in which participants are led on a slow, mindful walk in a natural setting, resulting in benefits such as reduced stress, increased feelings of well-being and happiness, and more.
These experiences build communities and help them thrive in many ways, including:
Improved levels of creativity
Reduced participant stress, heart rate, and cortisol levels
Improved participant connection to themselves and nature
Increased levels of happiness and feelings of well-being
And the list of benefits goes on!
COST | $50, lunch is included

With over two decades of professional experience and a deeply embodied spiritual path, Beth Reel brings a grounded, compassionate, and integrative approach to personal transformation and leadership. She is a Certified Professional Coach (CPC) with extensive training in mindfulness, nature-based practices, and women’s spirituality. Her certifications include Association of Nature and Forest Therapy Guide, Kripalu Mindful Outdoor Guide, Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT 200), Mindfulness Meditation Facilitator, Mindful Eating–Conscious Living™ (ME-CL) Certified, Art Therapy Life Coach, and Cacao Ceremony Facilitator, among others. She also holds training in Energy Medicine and Shamanic Studies and completed apprenticeship training through the Women’s Academy of Irish Shamanism & Spirituality.
Professionally, she has served as a nonprofit Co-Executive Director and federal grant director and project manager, and brings more than 20 years of experience in presentation development and public speaking. She holds a B.A. in Psychology with a concentration in Art and Art Therapy from the University of Saint Joseph and has completed additional training through the University of California San Diego Center for Mindfulness and the Cornell Civic Ecology Lab. She is also a UCONN and UCONN Health credentialed vendor.
Her work is rooted in lived experience. Once driven by perfectionism, fear, and the need for external validation, she understands firsthand the cost of living disconnected from the body and inner wisdom. Beginning her healing journey in 2004, she turned toward yoga, mindfulness, nature, and shamanic practices, discovering that true transformation happens through small, intentional steps rather than quick fixes.
Today, she supports women in reconnecting with their authentic selves and life purpose by deepening their relationship with the Earth, self, and Spirit. Through mindfulness, movement, ceremony, creativity, and time in nature, she helps women remember who they truly are—already whole, already enough.
